Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Security Services Manager to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.
A qualified and experienced Security Manager who is fair and wishes to be a part of the Yulara community.
You will lead and manage the Security Services Department of Ayers Rock Resort, which includes over 1000 residential dwellings, 5 hotels and a campground.
You will be responsible for the strategic direction of the Security department; ensuring process are followed and all incidents are investigated and responded to in a timely manner.
This role will see you contributing to our vision for changing lives through cultural tourism, demonstrating a commitment to the health and safety of all people within our Resort and community.
To be considered for this role we ask you to have:  Minimum Certificate II in Security & Senior First Aid Certificate (both current for minimum 6 months)  Hold a Diploma of Security and Risk Management Substantial experience in managing a team is essential Ability to obtain and hold an ASIC (Aviation Security identity Card)  The ability to obtain and hold a Northern Territory Security Officer and Crowd Control licenses  The ability to obtain and hold your RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol)  Previous experience and training in Security Management Previous experience in community safety and engagement (preferred) Key Duties  Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse security team Conduct regular security risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards Maintain security-related documentation and reporting systems Lead investigations of security incidents and implement preventive measures Monitor guest and resident's behaviours and respond to complaints and incidents in a timely and professional manner through securing.
Patrolling, watching, guarding and protecting VITA people and infrastructure including responding to alarm call outs (Fire/Security).
These tasks may be undertaken on foot or in a vehicle.
Provide access control for resort zones controlling the movement of persons, vehicles, gods/property coming out of or going into the zones, monitoring and recording description and quantities if required and ensuring appropriate identification/level of authority, are produced.
Ensuring any unauthorised personnel on site are reported to management.
Manage security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems We are extremely committed to the safety of our employees, guests and community who visits town, this also needs to be a strong focus for you too!
This role is dynamic and spread over a large geographic area, as a result an Australian Open Driver's License is required for all security roles.
