Advanced Security Group has been operating since 1999 throughout Australia with the Head office located in Tamworth NSW. This home-grown, local company is seeking dynamic, flexible individuals looking to kick start their career in the Security Industry. The business changed ownership in December 2023 and we are looking for additional driven employees to join the team, as we strive to be the leader in the region's Security Market.

We are currently recruiting for Mobile Patrol Officers in Tamworth. These are casual positions with the potential for Permanent Part Time once the trial period has been completed.
Qualifications Able to pass or have a current Police Check Current Full Drivers License (P1 or P2 will be considered) NSW Security License 1AC / 1A Current First Aid Certificate General Construction Induction Full working rights in Australia Personal Attributes Able to follow clear directives and instructions Ability to work well in a team environment and autonomously Ability to interact with key stakeholders including management, emergency services, clients, and security officers via phone and radio Available for rotating 24/7 rosters – weekends and nights Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Confident using a phone and electronic systems Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written Negotiation and conflict resolution skills Willingness to obtain or maintain COVID Vaccination and Flu Vaccination annually Reasonable fitness is required as shifts involve continuous activity with a maintained level of heightened alertness Patrol candidates require good physical fitness as shifts require continuous driving, frequent stopping, and conducting foot patrols of client premises. Initially, you will have side-by-side training, followed by a trial period. After the trial period, a workplace competency assessment is conducted before the staff member is employed in an ongoing position on the monthly roster.
