This varied and diverse role will work nationally across various clients, industries, and environments focused on Cybersecurity Services.  We are looking for a specialist with experience running 24x7 managed cyber security services to oversee and deliver the day-to-day operations of our Australian-based Security Operations Centre. You will work closely with the Director Consulting Expert for Cybersecurity to lead the operational team and will be tasked with leading a continual service improvement program that underpins operational excellence, client satisfaction and capability maturity. This role will suit an operational leader with a strong focus on process and delivery excellence who enjoys bringing out the best in others through coaching, mentoring and the removal of obstacles. With the growth in this service, the role has the potential to develop into a Director, Consulting Delivery role.Flexible work is available, including hybrid work, with in-office attendance a minimum of 3 days a week and as operational requirements dictate. Your future role and responsibilities: • Responsible for the day-to-day operational management of all SOC activities, including roster management, threat investigations, prioritization of analyst workload, incident/request escalations, and account team engagement.• Lead the team's delivery of high-quality monitoring, detection and response services that meet or exceed Service Level Agreements and that align with contractual client obligations• Represent the SOC through participation in CGI and client Senior Management meetings, to present on operational matters including high severity incidents• Drive, measure and report continuous improvement initiatives and metrics, client-context insights and value-add activities to evolve process maturity• Pro-actively manage the availability of resources and technologies used to deliver the Security Operations Centre services (including SIEM and SOAR platforms, underpinning third party services, threat intelligence feeds and integrations with ITSM platforms)• Coach and mentor a growing team of SOC analysts and provide input into their career development plans• Manage, control and report SOC financials• Utilise CGI's Global team to keep abreast of new and improved business operations models and foster connection of SOC team members with this network• Participate in bids and tenders for Operational opportunitiesExperience required to be successful in this role:• Extensive operational experience, with a focus on service improvement and attention to detail• Experience leading people as well as problem and incident resolution activities• Strong budget and financial management skills• Experience with report writing, service delivery, and client-facing activities• Excellent stakeholder management skills• Cyber security expertise• Availability for ad-hoc after-hours escalations• Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance Why work for CGI? Make a differenceFrom utilities and cybersecurity to government and financial service, we provide high end IT and business consulting to the world's most vital and exciting sectors.
