In this role, you'll: Be part of a supportive team focused on public safety and community well-being.
You'll help ensure the safety of iconic infrastructure like the Sydney Harbour Bridge and ANZAC Bridge while working closely with NSW Police, Emergency Operations Centres, and other key partners. Develop and manage security strategies and procedures that keep our transport systems running smoothly. Oversee security services during major events and special operations, ensuring everything goes off without a hitch. Foster strong connections with law enforcement, security agencies, and businesses to enhance our collective efforts in public safety. Make sure our security measures work well with the overall performance of our transport networks and respect heritage and community agreements. Safety is at the forefront of your decision-making, and you excel in fast-paced settings.
With experience in coordinating security services, you have a solid understanding of Security Risk Management Plans and security policies.
As an impeccable communicator, you enjoy engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders and building strong relationships.
To succeed in this role, you'll need: Relevant tertiary qualifications in a business discipline or equivalent industry experience in managing critical infrastructure resilience or assets of a significant nature. Willing and ability to be on-call and travel outside normal business hours during major, crisis or emergency events. Must hold (or eligible to obtain) a NSW Security Licence Class 1A (or equivalent).
