Our Needs
We're on the hunt for a highly ambitious and dynamic security supervisor to join our high performing team.
Reporting into the Operations Managers, this role will be instrumental towards overseeing the day-to-day security operations for a portfolio of sites, ensuring service delivery expectations are exceeded, as well as ensuring your team are nurtured and effectively supported. There is an expectation that you'll be available to work across a 7day rotating roster.
The Role
As the Security Operations and Safety Supervisor, your duties will include but are not limited to:
Working in a dynamic fast paced environment that is subject to change and requires a flexible and focused work ethicSupervising the day-to-day security operations for allocated sitesDriving and supporting a customer centric environment amongst your teamAssisting with the planning and co-ordination of eventsUndertaking a variety of people management practices aligned with rostering, shift coverages, and performance managementEnsuring your team and sites have the necessary skills and equipment to do their jobEnsuring company policies andprocedures are followedthrough, as well as driving a strong safety cultureThe ability to act as a relief security officer from time-to-time.About You
To be successful in this role, its expected that you'll have the following:
A QLD Unarmed (with crowd controller) Security Licence, First Aid Certificate and full QLD Drivers LicenceCert IV in Training & Assessment, Security Risk Managementor Frontline Managementhighly regarded.Minimum 1 years proven experience in security operations is desirable.Proven experience developing security documentation such as operational plansProven experience supervising teams and security worksitesComputer literate, in Microsoft suite of productsDemonstrated competency in implementing, maintaining, and managing company systems to staff across to various client sites.Highly organised, with strong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent personal presentation, hygiene and grooming standardsRequired to have strong time management skills and forward planning abilityWhy work for us?
