About the role This fast-paced and interesting role offers you the opportunity to utilise your security officer experience in an Embassy setting and contribute positively to the safety and security of all personnel on embassy ground. As a Security Officer you will be responsible for providing customer service of the highest quality through your proactive, professional and sound approach. Duties include but are not limited to:
Engage in protective activities with Diplomatic staff and VIP safeguarding Monitor CCTV footage and radio communication systems Provide first aid and liaise with Police & Emergency Response Services Review camera footage and write reports Conduct foot patrols throughout the premises Skills & experience Certificate II in Security Operations and security licence Current First Aid and CPR certificate Open driver's license Dedication, reliability and a commitment to security Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High standards of presentation and grooming The ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment Ability to obtain and maintain a US clearance High level of fitness due to physical nature of role If you are interested in joining the security industry but do not hold a qualification or licence, please take the time to consider our Scholarship Program.
