Ensure the safety of the hotel, guests and employees Oversee asset protection of hotel Research and report any incidents in accordance with standards of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Be a visible security presence while on duty Act as First Aid Attendant; responding to all first aid calls while on duty Maintenance of effective relationships with Municipal, Federal or Corporate security/police forces Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Your experience and skills include:
Previous experience in a customer service related position BST certificate and Valid BC Security License or willingness to obtain a Security License Occupational First Aid level 2 Bondable Completely fluent English language skills, both written and verbal Must be available for all shifts including evenings, overnight shifts and weekends Clear, professional and helpful communication in person and over the phone Team player with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills A high level of responsibility and ability to work well independently with minimal supervision Commitment to provide excellent service and exceed guests' expectations Impeccable grooming and presentation Physical ability to perform the requirements of the job, including: Standing/walking for extended periods of time Performing repetitive work
Additional Information Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
Constant standing and walking Frequent bending and kneeling Frequent carrying and lifting up to 75lbs Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
