In this role, you'll maintain an attentive security presence, provide exceptional customer service, and build strong internal relationships. This Relief Security Officer position involves working 12-hour shifts, both day and night, and includes responsibilities such as:Operating the control roomProviding security, static guarding, and crowd controlConducting premises patrols and enforcing local council lawsCovering events on an ad hoc basisPerforming mobile patrols as requiredResponding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and emergenciesSkills & ExperienceQLD Security Licence (Unarmed, Monitoring, Crowd Control functions)Certificate II in Security OperationsCurrent First Aid and CPR certificationCurrent Driver's LicenceCOVID vaccinations (1st and 2nd dose required)Willingness to obtain Hepatitis A & B immunisationsIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsCompensation and BenefitsSign on bonus of $750 and Retention bonus of $750 (based on return of service)Full Time role in Townsville$26.33 – $28.00/hr + shift penalties and Relievers allowance where applicable5 weeks annual leave + SuperannuationHow to ApplyMSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
