Throughout the halls and across the walls of both hotels, you'll find engaging pieces of history, art and stories that connect our guests to the beautiful state of Tasmania.What you can expect in a day in this role :As a Security Officer, you will help us create a safe and welcoming environment for our guests, with work primarily being across MACq01 and Henry Jones, Friday and Saturday nights between 8pm -1am.
There will also be the opportunity to work at our sister property Wrest Point in Sandy Bay, just 7 minutes south, when required.What you will bring to the role :A current Tasmanian Security LicenceIdeally, 2 or more years of Security experience in a Hospitality venueExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong negotiation and problem-solving skillsYou will also be required to hold :Crowd Control LicenceWorkplace Level 2 First Aid CertificateResponsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)Tasmanian Gaming Special Employee Licence (or the ability to obtain this licence)Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG)An appointee to this role may be subject to pre-employment and ongoing screening checks.What you can expect from us :Along with this fantastic role and Federal Hospitality discounts across our hospitality and tourism properties, you will also receive :Delicious FREE staff meals available per shiftConvenient FREE on-site parkingAdditional external discounts availableInterested?
