Full Time | Above award rates + penalties4 on / 4 off roster | Work-life balanceSign on bonus of $1000 and Retention bonus of $750 (based on return of service)Funded Security Licence by MSS Security (based on return of service agreement)About the Role MSS Security is looking for Security Officers in Mount Isa to provide a security presence - access control, mobile/foot patrols and respond to emergencies at our client site.
You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer-focused team.
Based locally, you will work within a permanent 4 on 4 off rotational roster consisting of 12-hour shifts of days and nights.
You will be primarily responsible for ensuring only authorised vehicles and personnel enter the site.
Duties include, but are not limited to: Site access control and traffic managementConduct mobile/foot patrols and vehicle/bag security inspectionsPerform drug and alcohol testingOrganise security passes, issue/sign keys in & out and lock/unlock buildingsProvide customer service, monitor radio communications, and driver behavioursProvide emergency response to incidents on sitePrepare and submit accurate and timely electronic logs and reportsSkills & Experience QLD drivers' licenceQLD Security Licence - unarmed security officer as a minimumSecurity Licence is funded by MSS Security where a return of service agreement is enteredCurrent First Aid and CPR CertificateWilling to or hold a Certification to Collect specimens for drug of abuse testing certification (HLTPAT005) - MSS will pay for successful candidates for this courseAvailable to work a rotational roster consisting of days, nights and weekendsIntermediate level in Microsoft Office applicationsIf you are interested in joining the security industry but do not hold a qualification or licence, please take the time to consider our Scholarship Program.
