The role Security is a highly skilled team, playing an important part in making Crown a welcoming place for our guests through maintaining a culture of care and excellence.
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing frontline security services in a professional, customer-focused manner to ensure the safety and security of Crown Perth's customers, employees, and property. Your conflict resolution and problem-solving skills will allow you to improve our colleagues and customers' experience.
In this role, you'll provide joyful experiences through your genuine care for guests. As well as:
Checking ID and ensuring patrons adhere to dress code. Addressing undesirable behaviour. Escorting staff and patrons to vehicles when required. Preventing violent and disorderly behaviour. Assisting patrons who wish to be self-barred from the Casino. Providing support in medical emergencies. Assisting in the transfers of money and chips. About you You'll bring the following:
Excellent communication skills with the ability to defuse potential conflict. Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and nights, is essential for this role. Strong customer service skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and busy environment. Additional Information We're working towards our first 2025 intake which will be Monday 17th February and Monday 10th March. We're intending to conduct interviews on 6th & 9th December 2024 and 9th & 10th January 2025 which you will need to be available for. To advance your application, you must meet the following requirements:
Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011 Provide First Aid) Current WAPOL Security Officer and Crowd Controller Licenses Current DLGSCI Casino Employee (Security Officer) License or ability to acquire one Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and nights, is essential for this role. You will also need to complete a pre-employment medical which is part of Crown's background checks and recruitment process.
