The roles, responsibilities and duties of a Security Officer can be performed in many different sectors and varying roles.
This Position Description outlines the general duties in line with specific role types and acts as a guide rather than a comprehensive list of tasks.
Full time security roles available at a high-profile client site | Minimum 76 hours per fortnight Base hourly rate of $36.75 plus weekend / public holiday penalty rates | $100 weekly reliever allowance Parking on site; cafes/restaurants on site About the role The position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused.
You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team.
You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers, and you will build strong relationships with your internal stakeholders.
This role is across multiple sites across the Sydney CBD and Eastern Suburbs region.
?Duties include but are not limited to: Maintain focus and observe the activities associated with asset protection (client site) Ensure that with knowledge of the client site and requirements and any out of the ordinary events are identified and actioned Ensure only authorised persons are on site, and use computerised access control systems as required Reading, understanding and signing off on specific site requirements Maintain logs and records of occurrences, complete necessary paperwork as required Provide information, directions and other information as required, to clients/customers, in person, or over the telephone Skills & experience Certificate II in Security Operations Previous experience in a customer facing role Experience in security operations (ideal, but not necessary) Positive attitude, great communication skills, willingness to learn and adapt Australian Citizenship required; NV1 or Baseline clearance (or the ability to obtain) If you are interested in joining the security industry but do not hold a qualification or licence, please take the time to consider our Scholarship Program.
