We are seeking NSW Licenced Security Officers to join our professional team on the Snowy 2.0 Project.

About the Role: Location: Snowy Mountains region (Drive-In Drive-Out roles from Cooma, NSW – You must be prepared to travel to Cooma to commence your roster rotation) Roster: 14 days on, 7 days off – rotating day and night shifts. Candidates must be flexible to work across a rotating 14:7 roster based out of Cooma, NSW. Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Manage gatehouse operations and control access at construction sites. Conduct regular site patrols, both on foot and in vehicles. Oversee vehicle entry and exit, ensuring proper documentation and procedures. Respond to alarms and on-site incidents with urgency and professionalism. Accurately report and document incidents during shifts. Proactively identify and report hazards, ensuring site safety and compliance. Qualifications & Experience Mandatory skills, licences/qualifications:
Current and valid NSW Security Licence Current and valid First Aid Certificate A valid and clean Driver's License and own vehicle A clear Police Check within two months Certificate II/III in Security Operations NSW RSA (Responsible service of alcohol) White Card Full, unlimited rights-to-work in Australia Required attributes:
Ability to work within a team De-escalation and conflict resolution skills Ability to conduct foot and vehicle-mounted security patrols, and management of access control points for pedestrians and vehicles Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written High level of customer service skills High level of personal presentation, conduct, dress and deportment A high level of computer and administration skills are preferred What Mondiaux Security Offers: Induction and training (including pre-employment medical check, site induction and 4WD and ice road driver training) Accommodation provided whilst rostered at remote mountain sites Meals provided at three sites and a meal allowance provided at the Cooma security site. A dedicated management team based in ACT and Cooma, who will provide you with ongoing support 24/7 operational support Next Steps: All successful applicants will be required to complete induction and training before conducting site work including a pre-employment medical.
