About the role This fast paced and interesting role offers you the opportunity to utilise your experience in Defence and contribute positively to the safety and security of all personnel on base. As a Security Officer you will be responsible for providing customer service of the highest quality through your proactive, professional and sound approach. Duties include but are not limited to:
Observe activities associated with asset protectionMonitor CCTV footage and radio communication systemsProvide first aid and liaise with Police & Emergency Response ServicesReview camera footage and write reportsConduct foot patrols throughout the premisesSkills & experience Certificate II in Security Operations and security licenceFirst Aid and CPR certificateOpen driver's licenseCustomer service experienceExperience in monitoring a CCTV networkHold or be willing to obtain an AGSVA security clearanceIf you are interested in joining the security industry but do not hold a qualification or licence, please take the time to consider our Scholarship Program.
