Casual position Security Officer Grade 2 (GF23) Located at The Alfred Great staff benefits! The Department Alfred Health Support Services provides non-clinical support services across Alfred Health, including cleaning services, car parking and fleet management, waste management, gardens and grounds, distribution, security and access control, ward support, linen services, ancillary services, food services and hospitality.
The Role The Security Officer will operate as part of the security team and will assist the manager of support services in providing and maintaining as far as practical a safe and secure environment for all staff, patients, residents and visitors. This will be performed in a manner that meets or exceeds industry best practice and maintains security standards in accordance with the Australian Standard – Security For Health Care Facilities AS 4485 and in doing so work closely with other Support Services team members to ensure we maintain a committed, safe and socially responsible multi-skilled team.
