Position Details Full time Security officer role at La Trobe University in Bendigo.
Pay rate of $27.56 + super and shift penalties where applicable.
About the Role The position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused.
You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers.
This role has a rotating 24/7 roster, typically consisting of 12 hour shifts. Duties Duties include but are not limited to:
Conduct foot patrols of campuses mostly outdoors. Escort people around the campus. Ensure property is locked and unlocked as required. Direct and help people to navigate around the campus. Write reports in response to incidents. Communicate calmly and clearly with key stakeholders. Skills & Experience Certificate II in Security Operations & Security Licence. Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain). Valid First Aid & CPR. Full Australian working rights. Customer centric approach. Proven ability to remain alert and focused.
