Position: Security guard

Salary: $82,000 plus 11.5% super

Hours: 38 hours

Mode: Full time

Location: Griffith NSW 2680

Experience required: Minimum 2 years' experience in relevant roles

J&J Security Services (Security Master Licence No. 000107675) is looking for vigilant and dedicated Security Guards to join our professional team. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our clients' properties, personnel, and visitors. This role involves patrolling premises, monitoring security systems, and responding to incidents promptly.

Tasks and Responsibilities Included But Not Limited To: Conduct regular patrols of the property to check for unauthorized entry and ensure all doors, windows, and gates are secure.Watch for and report irregularities such as fire hazards, equipment malfunctions, and other potential safety issues.Monitor security alarms and immediately notify supervisors, police, or fire departments if a security breach or fire is detected.Issue security passes to authorized visitors and provide necessary directions to ensure they reach their destinations safely.Respond quickly to any security incidents or emergencies, including contacting the appropriate authorities.Safely handle and transport cash, payrolls, and other valuables, ensuring their secure delivery.Maintain order and ensure the safety of attendees at events with large gatherings.Conduct investigations into theft or other unlawful acts within the premises and prepare evidence for potential court cases.Advise clients on their security needs and help design effective security plans and specifications. Other Skills & Requirements: Valid security guard license and relevant certifications.Proven experience in security.Strong attention to detail and observational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to remain calm and act swiftly in emergency situations.Physical ability to perform patrols and manage confrontations if necessary.Proactive and vigilant with a keen sense of responsibility.Trustworthy and capable of handling confidential information.Good problem-solving skills.
