You will provide practical support to the Security Manager providing a 24/7 service to provide protection and safety within hospital grounds.
Your duties will include Deliver all aspects of protection, safeguarding and security of company assets, employees, patients and visitorsStaff the security zone within the Emergency DepartmentPatrol the internal and external perimeters of the hospitalCarpark DutiesAssist in investigationsControl access points and prevent unauthorised entry and removal of hospital propertyPrevent vandalism, loitering and public nuisanceProvide security escorts for staff, patients and visitors as requiredRespond to notification of fire, trespass, theft, vandalism, assault or other threatsRespond to incidents and use negotiation and de-escalation skillsA Class 1 Security Licence consisting of Security Officer unarmed, Security officer monitoringCertificate II in Security (Guarding) or equivalentPrevious operating experience within a Security Control Room with security systems, i.e. Electronic Access Control and CCTV System KnowledgeAbility to work a flexible rosterTrack record of providing great service and customer experienceStrong interpersonal communication and report writing skillsAbility to work autonomously as well as in a team environmentWell-developed oral and written communicationGood computer literacy & sound knowledge of Microsoft OfficeTo Apply: Please click on the 'Apply' button to be taken to our online application form.
