As an Estimator, you'll be responsible for:Project Estimation: Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to create detailed, accurate cost estimates aligned with project specifications and timelines.Design & Documentation: Convert estimates into technical designs and Bills of Materials (BOMs) while ensuring compliance with project standards.Procurement & Preparation: Coordinate with procurement teams to source materials efficiently and assist in overall project preparation.Project Documentation: Maintain and organise comprehensive project documentation to support smooth execution and future reference.Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, providing insights and support to ensure successful project delivery.Process Optimisation: Identify opportunities to enhance estimation and project management workflows for increased efficiency.What We're Looking ForWe're searching for a motivated individual with a balance of technical expertise and collaborative skills. The ideal candidate will have:Experience: Prior experience in estimating within the electronic security industry is essential to the role.Technical Knowledge: Experience or familiarity with electronic security systems, including CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and networks.Software Skills: Proficiency with Simpro and Bluebeam is advantageous, but not essential.Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with the ability to create precise estimates and designs.Organisational Skills: The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.Problem-Solving: A proactive, solution-oriented approach to tackling challenges and driving project success.Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work seamlessly across different departments.The OfferThe successful applicant will receive a salary package commensurate with experience, with a base salary of $130,000 - $140,000 plus Superannuation, as well as the opportunity to establish yourself with an expanding and highly respected Australian company!How to ApplyIf you're ready to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.
