Amentum is seeking a Security Duty Officer (SDO) to join our O&M team in Alice Springs, Australia . The selected candidate will be responsible for the security on the site to include areas inside and outside classified areas as well as its ancillary buildings and to serve as the first responder and facility point of contact for all medical emergencies.Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Provide 24-hour/7 day per week personnel access control to ensure classified information and sensitive materials are properly secured and safeguarded for all classified areasPerform management and supervisory responsibilities as the shift supervisor or senior SDOProvide 24-hour monitoring and response to facility fire alarms and other emergency indicators (i.e. lock-down alarm)Perform all repair, maintenance, and combination changes on all safes and vault locksOperate the USG provided paging and radio networkScan all submitted computer software for virusesPerform additional informal security-related activities as directed by the Security GPOCManage/maintain keys and combination controlProvide roving patrolsAssist and be on call for Emergency Response as directedServe as the first responder and facility primary point of contact for all medical emergencies inside and outside of classified areasProvide incident and daily reporting as requiredRequirementsMust have a minimum of 5 years of previous experience in security, access control, CCTV operations or customer service or at least 3 years of experience accompanied with a 4 year degreeMust fulfill an initial 2-year contract and are encouraged to maintain employment for concurrent toursMust successfully pass a physical examination given by a licensed physician or health care professional prior to assignment and subsequent tours thereafter or every two yearsMaintain qualifications for First ResponderSuccessful completion of applicable safe and lock trainingPreferredAdvanced Resuscitation trainingDefibrillator Use trainingCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certifiedExperience responding to and removing reptilesDoD and OCONUS Facilities experiencePrevious GSA Safe and Vault CertificationAmentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
