About the job    An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced physical Security Coordinator.
You will bring your knowledge and experience and have direct input into Security framework.
On a day-to-day basis, the Security Coordinator acts as a point of contact for the business, and liaises with other functions such as Asset Design, Capital works, Health & Safety, Supply Chain, and Operations.
You will conduct security risk assessments and implement solutions to mitigate risks, and you'll also respond to, investigate and report security incidents.
About the Person The successful candidate will be a great communicator as you will liaise internally across different levels of the organisation.
You also may liaison with the Protective Security Services Branch and SA Police as necessary.
You'll have excellent writing skills to help develop policies and procedures and bring a collaborative and proactive mindset, working well with others in the team, demonstrating critical thinking and analytical skills.

The Security Coordinator will have: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the security industry (essential) Knowledge of the SAPSF and other relevant standards (essential) Communication and technical skills to inform and educate Security Team of new technologies and products (essential) Excellent verbal and written communication skills (essential) Preparedness to be available to participate in rotating Security on-call roster, to manage after hours security issues (essential) The ability to attain a Baseline security level vetting (essential) Further information can be found in the attached PD –  Security Coordinator PD.pdf To apply, click 'Apply'.
