The purpose of the role is to oversee control room operations.
Monitor CCTV and communicate with roving security officers to address issues relating to security breaches, alarms and other situations.
About the role: MSS Security is seeking highly motivated and vigilant Security Control Room Operator to join our dedicated security team in Sydney, CBD.
The role involves monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and ensuring the smooth operation of our security protocols 24/7.
This role is ideal if you are someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about maintaining a secure and safe campus environment.
Key Responsibilities: Monitor and operate the control room systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control.
Respond to incidents, dispatch security personnel, and coordinate with emergency services when required.
Report and document incidents accurately and promptly.
Maintain situational awareness to identify potential security threats.
Assist with the development and implementation of security procedures.
Provide support and information to students, staff, and visitors as needed.
Requirements: Previous experience in a control room or security operations role.
Certificate II in Security Operations NSW Security Licence Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
