About the role Join our dynamic PTA Project Delivery (PPD) Division at the Public Transport Authority (PTA) and contribute to the successful delivery of the High Capacity Signalling (HCS) project – one of the PTA's major transport infrastructure projects.
The Security Architect role is critical in ensuring the design and implementation of the Automatic Train Control (ATC) systems Cyber Security Platform (CSP), to protect PTA systems, data and equipment from malicious or accidental damage.
The role will be required to develop and implement security strategies to protect the PTA's ATC System from current and emerging cyber threats, actively participate in the design and development of the ATC Systems CSP and participate in risk assessments and the development of mitigation plans for identified vulnerabilities.
Strong network skills and experience are essential in integrating security into the network architecture and design, and creating security policies and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations is also necessary.
About You! To excel in this role, you should possess:
Recent experience in cybersecurity or information security, especially in designing and implementing security architectures.Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies and emerging threats.Excellent network skills and experience in integrating security into network architecture.Proven experience in providing engineering support in the planning, design and delivery of maintaining Network Infrastructure in an asset-intensive environment without disrupting business operations.Ability to develop security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards.Strong leadership and management skills.Possession of a Tertiary related qualification in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.Experience with security compliance frameworks, such as IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.Beyond the technical qualifications mentioned above, we seek individuals capable of efficiently managing and guiding staff, consultants, and contractors in achieving established goals.
