Job details: The company is seeking to engage a Security Architect to assist in the delivery of the architecture foundations project and software consolidation project within the Technology Group.
The successful candidate will:
Advise on cybersecurity considerations and posture in the development of key strategies and architectures.Create cybersecurity policies, standards and procedures.Collaborate and support project managers, solution architects, business analysts, engineers and SMEs to ensure the delivery of projects and environmental changes consider cybersecurity principles.Perform risk assessments of technologies being implemented.In addition to project tasks, assist with BAU activities where required.Key duties and responsibilities: Key requirements of the successful candidate must have skills and experience with (mandatory):
Extensive knowledge of Government cybersecurity frameworks and guidelines (ISM, Essential 8, PSPF).Experience defining security policies and principles, with considerations for technology and business requirements.Experience in designing and implementing security solutions for complex enterprise systems.Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, VPNs and cloud security tools.Understanding of hybrid environments (cloud and on-premise).Experience with cloud security tools in Azure, AWS and GCP.Cybersecurity governance, risk and compliance experience.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.The following additional skills and experience would be of benefit: Infrastructure platform management.Kirra Services acknowledges all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work and live.
