Elecnor Australia has a great fixed term contract opportunity for an Electrical Supervisor to join the team on our project at Dinawan (near Wagga Wagga). There will be opportunities to move to other locations along the project timeline.
Who we are Elecnor Australia has been awarded the engineering, construction, and procurement contract for Transgrid's EnergyConnect project. The scope of the project includes a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border, one new and two upgraded substations and five newly built accommodation camps.

About the role Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Electrical Supervisor is to deliver high quality project services to the client and provide supervision and coordination as directed by the Construction Manager / Project Manager and the client.
You will obtain a complete understanding of the required contractual KPI's and obligations. Ensure safe and effective operation of the project through sound communication, promotion of safety and quality assurance, technical assistance, and sound business practices.
Key responsibilities for the Electrical Supervisor include: Ensuring company compliance with Australian standards, industry guidelines, state/ local technical requirements, and safe working practices. Audit installation work for compliance with Australian standards and company quality expectations. Supervise the electrical construction of the project, primarily electrical components including any / all primary plant, switchboards, marshalling boards, LV, HV, DC and F/O cable installation. Coordinate (with other senior operations staff) the allocation and scheduling of electrical staff to projects and tasks. Electrical system fault finding and reporting. Ensure (and where appropriate improve the efficiency and quality of) end-to-end documentation and administration of each electrical system. Manage and lead system and incident investigations in collaboration with the business HSEQ Managers. What you will bring to the team: Qualified Electrician with 5+ years project site supervisory experience Relevant industry experience within the HV transmission and distribution industry Experience working in large construction environments, particularly remote FIFO scenarios Current first aid Electrical Engineering qualifications/experience Transgrid or other equivalent utilities experience desirable We're building a diverse workforce Elecnor Australia is committed to being an employer of choice.
