We are expanding our operations in Australia and are currently recruiting an Employee & Industrial Relations Specialist.

As the Employee & Industrial Relations Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and implementation of contemporary Employee Relations strategies that drive high-quality outcomes across the company.
You will work closely with the Lead, Employee & Industrial Relations to consult and negotiate with union representatives on employee relations matters, including dispute resolution, to ensure effective resolutions that reflect the company's values.

In your new role, you will:
Assist in the management of employment-related litigation, providing support in assessing options and developing plans, and maintaining all necessary documentation.
Offer guidance and consultancy on a range of employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, performance management, grievances, and workplace injuries.
Investigate and provide expert advice on legislative and industrial agreement issues to inform the company's industrial strategy.
Collaborate with Employee & Industrial Relations leaders to assess learning needs and deliver targeted programs that enhance knowledge among the leadership cohort.
Support workplace investigations and ensure that all activities are completed within set timeframes.
Actively contribute to bargaining processes for enterprise agreements, researching and assessing relevant industrial instruments for best practice options.
Manage projects effectively, ensuring deliverables are achieved within agreed budgets and timeframes.
ABOUT YOU You are an experienced Employee & Industrial Relations professional with a solid track record in managing employee relations matters and providing strategic support in a fast-paced environment.
Your strong negotiation and advocacy skills empower you to handle complex issues and facilitate effective resolutions.

To be successful, you will:
Gain and retain all police/security clearances required within our industry.
Pass any required health assessments.
Work within correctional or regional processing centres as needed.
Travel both interstate and overseas to meet business demands.
Provide proof of double vaccination against Covid-19 with a vaccine recognised in Australia.
Undergo alcohol and drug testing as required by the business.
