We are expanding our operations in Australia and are currently recruiting a Director, Business Services.
You will lead financial operations for Secure Journeys, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, enhancing financial performance, and driving operational efficiency. Collaborating with senior leaders and stakeholders, you will establish a continuous improvement model and ensure seamless delivery of financial and business services.
In your new role, you will: Manage financial reporting, compliance, and tax obligations for all Secure Journeys. Lead the external audit process and maintain adherence to legislation and policies. Develop strategies to improve contract performance and financial outcomes. Oversee procurement, asset management, and logistical strategies. Drive team performance through mentorship, KPIs, and succession planning. Ensure compliance with WHS, quality management, and operational standards. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including government bodies and suppliers. Demonstrate strong leadership and team development capabilities. Show proficiency in financial systems, ideally NetSuite, and Microsoft Office Suite. ABOUT YOU You are an experienced financial leader with a proven track record in managing complex operational environments. Your strategic insight, technical expertise, and ability to foster high-performing teams will ensure business compliance and success.
To be successful, you will: Hold CA/CPA qualifications or equivalent senior financial management experience. Have expertise in logistics, supply management, and financial auditing. Gain and retain all police/security clearances required within our industry. Pass any required health assessments. Work within correctional or regional processing centres as needed. Travel both interstate and overseas to meet business demands. Provide proof of double vaccination against Covid-19 with a vaccine recognised in Australia. Undergo alcohol and drug testing as required by the business.
