About the roleThe Section Manager (Northern Regulation) will manage the human, physical, financial, and information resources of the Northern Industrial Regulation Section, a team of eight.
Contribute to business planning, development of procedures, effective management, and future directions of the Branch.Work with various industries including renewables (windfarms), food processing facilities, and mining/extractive.Provide strategic policy and authoritative professional advice on best practice environmental management and regulatory issues.Implement and manage the statutory system for the regulation of environmentally significant matters and activities.About usThe Environment Protection Authority (EPA) is committed to investing in its people to ensure a sustainable and successful organisation through a positive workplace culture and highly capable employees. Hours per fortnight73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).
Period of appointment12 months or until the return of substantive occupant, whichever is the sooner.
