**Job Description:**
Icahn Enterprises is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Secretary to join our team in Canberra. This part-time role is essential for supporting administrative functions and ensuring that our office operations run smoothly. **Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Administrative Support:**
- Manage and prioritize incoming communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail.
- Assist in the coordination of meetings and events, including scheduling, logistics planning, and preparing agendas.
- Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring confidential information is handled appropriately.

2. **Documentation and Reporting:**
- Draft, format, and proofread correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases for tracking various projects and initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of meeting minutes and distribute them promptly to ensure clarity and accountability.

3. **Office Management:**
- Organize and maintain the office environment to promote efficient workflows.
- Manage office supplies inventory and initiate orders as necessary.
- Coordinate with IT support for troubleshooting and maintenance of office equipment.

4. **Team Collaboration:**
- Collaborate with various teams within the organization to facilitate smooth communication and project operations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving processes and enhancing team performance.
- Serve as a liaison between different departments to ensure cohesive work.

5. **Client and Vendor Relations:**
- Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, clients, and partners.
- Foster positive relationships with vendors, assisting in the procurement process as needed.

6. **Continuous Improvement:**
- Identify opportunities for improving administrative processes and implement solutions.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and trends to contribute to the overall effective functioning of the organization.

**Qualifications:**

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar administrative or secretarial role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail.
