The Department of Justice contributes to a safe, fair and just Tasmania delivering a wide rangeof services related to:• The administration of justice and legal services.• Corrections, rehabilitation, and enforcement.• Regulatory services.Role Purpose As a leader of the department, the Secretary is tasked with leading and driving a comprehensive strategic agenda.
The Secretary is responsible for ensuring that the department delivers policies, services and reforms to ensure accessibility to a well-functioning justice system.About you This opportunity will suit a values-driven and seasoned executive leader, ideally from the Justice or adjacent sectors where they intersect with the legal system.
