+ Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice Benefits Multiple part-time and temporary positions up to 12 months About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and professional Unit Secretary to join our dynamic team in the Cardiothoracic Surgical Unit.
As the key support role, you will provide a comprehensive and confidential medical secretarial service to clinical staff, ensuring smooth operations within the unit.
Your attention to detail and organisational skills will be essential in assisting with patient care, maintaining accurate medical records, and supporting the overall administration of the hospital.
In this role, you will be accountable to the Supervisor, working closely with clinical staff to ensure the effective delivery of services and optimal care for patients.

About You We're looking for a highly organised and professional individual to join our team.
To succeed in this role, you will need to bring: Excellent literacy and computer literacy skills, with the ability to type 50-60 wpm accurately and transcribe from Dictaphone.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with the public, colleagues, and all levels of staff.
A proactive, independent work ethic, demonstrating initiative, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks with minimal supervision.
Previous experience in general office and secretarial procedures, along with knowledge of hospital policies and interdepartmental operations.
