The Department of Health plays a critical role in the Victorian health system and is responsible for shaping it to meet the health needs of all Victorians. We're focused on supporting Victorians to be as healthy as they can; whether through alerting them to seasonal risks like thunderstorm asthma, notifying them of contact with communicable diseases, safeguarding their drinking water, developing the best health, wellbeing and care facilities in the world, being at the forefront of mental health and wellbeing treatment or accelerating medical research.
About the role: The Victorian Collaborative Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing (Collaborative Centre) is seeking a skilled Secretariat Officer to provide high-level secretariat services to the organisation's Board, Co-CEOs and various committees. Working across the organisation, the Secretariat will use their knowledge and experience to support and administer the Collaborative Centre's statutory governance functions.
Reporting directly to the Co-CEOs (or a delegate), the Secretariat will support the Collaborative Centre through the administration of internal processes including the development of briefing papers, minutes and action registers. The role requires the incumbent to possess strong skills in working confidentially with sensitive information.
The Secretariat role will also have a communications focus, with the aim of improving processes by facilitating the sharing of information and working closely with others. Experience effectively working with diverse populations will be crucial to the success of this role.
