About the Opportunity SafeWork SA (SWSA) is responsible for providing work health and safety, public safety and state-based industrial relations services across South Australia.
As a regulator, Investigators and Inspectors ensure work health and safety, and public safety standards are met and appropriate action is taken when breaches of laws are detected.
The primary purpose of the Secretariat is to coordinate and support South Australia's representatives on national and state-based committees and meetings; and coordinate key priorities of the Strategic Policy and Legislative Services Team.
The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in providing secretariat services for boards or committees including the preparation of high-level and timely briefings and meeting packages.
The successful applicant will be able to identify, research, develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures and protocols to ensure the successful coordination of the South Australian representative's participation at state and national meetings.
You will be able to manage high volumes of work and meet tight deadlines whilst retaining objectivity and ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information and material.
You will have proven ability to interact and engage with stakeholders in an effective and respectful manner that leads to successful outcomes and uphold SafeWork SA's values at all times.
About the Business SafeWork SA is a business unit within Attorney-General's Department and is responsible for providing work, health and safety, public safety, and state-based industrial relations services across South Australia.
As a regulator, our Investigators and Inspectors ensure work, health and safety, and public safety standards are met, and appropriate action is taken when breaches of laws are detected.
