Secondary Teacher - English/Humanities

Good Shepherd Lutheran College is a co-educational, non-government school for ELC to Year 12 students.
It has three campuses across Darwin: Howard Springs, Palmerston, and Leanyer.
Applications are sought for a suitably qualified and experienced Secondary Teacher to join the English/Humanities team at the Howard Springs campus on a permanent, full-time basis.
Secondary Teachers provide an atmosphere for students to fulfil their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, spiritual, and psychological growth.
They are responsible for organising and implementing an instructional program that will result in students achieving academic success in accordance with the policies and procedures at Good Shepherd Lutheran College.
As a community, we inspire and equip students to flourish as compassionate, highly capable people who enrich the lives of others, guided by Christian values.
The ideal candidate should have experience teaching Senior English and History (desirable) and a demonstrated experience and ability to work independently and as part of a team, developing, establishing, implementing, and monitoring learning and curriculum.
Willingness and experience teaching in other subjects is favourable.
