At CathWest Innovation College, Loyola Campus Mount Druitt, we are seeking a TAS/Construction teacher to join us from 31 January 2025 to 11 April 2025 on a temporary part-time basis (0.6 - 6 days per fortnight).
Responsibilities: Ability to teach Stage 5 Design and Technology - with a specialisation in timber.Ability to teach Construction Certificate I is a preference.Use effective pedagogies, a range of differentiated assessment approaches and a wide variety of stimulating and interactive resources to enhance student learning outcomes.Build effective relationships with staff and students.Create engaging, intellectually challenging and safe learning environments through planning, implementing and evaluating rigorous and inclusive learning programs.Make a positive difference to the learning outcomes of the students taught.Responsive to all aspects of the context in which they teach including use of technology and other resources, teaching practices and ways in which assessment and feedback is provided to students.Commit to the continual improvement of teaching practice and take opportunities for personal professional development.Qualifications and Accreditations: Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance.Eligibility to teach in NSW according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete).Statements of Service.Application Requirements: By Friday 17 January 2025, formally express your interest in the position through the provision of:
