Job Description Our Energy Team in Sydney have created an exciting opportunity for a ' Secondary System Engineer ' to join our 'Transmission and Distribution' team as a Principal or Director.
The person appointed will be responsible to work with and across a strong Transmission and Distribution group and to provide the appropriate business development, technical support and deliver quality project outcomes on time and budget delivery.
You will actively participate in and contribute to the winning, management, and delivery of moderate to large-scale projects whilst enhancing client and working relationships.
Some of your day-to-day tasks will include: Developing, encouraging and facilitating innovation in engineering solutions and work processes Providing technical engineering support on secondary systems and protection design projects Provide engineering design from concept through to detail including design reviews, specifications, report writing, calculations and relay configurations.
Managing project teams to ensure timely provision of coordinated and quality engineering deliverables Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with Australian standards and sound engineering principles Contributing to the development of client relationships, bids and proposals including identification of opportunities, scoping and cost estimation Qualifications As a Principal/Director of Secondary Sytems Engineering, you will possess the following: Strong experience in the Transmission Secondary and SCADA environment Design of HV transmission substations protection systems including Low Voltage Control and protection design Development of functional Specifications Experience in design of SCADA Experience in sourcing, selection and integration of control systems hardware and associated cabling into substation design Design Management Excellent project management and time management skills Excellent at managing internal and external client relationship In-depth understanding of NSW power distribution system.
