Switch Education is currently working with a regional R-12 Catholic school to find a Secondary Science teacher with a passion for education and a desire to become a part of friendly regional community.
Experience in middle and secondary science is essential with Stage 1 and 2 experience highly desirable.
This is a full-time position with the potential to become permanent.
Although we understand that relocation could possibly take some time, the school is looking for a teacher who is able to start as soon as possible.
The following relocation incentives would also be available to successful candidates.
1.
Removal Expenses : The school will pay 100% of removal costs, provided you follow the below procedure: Three quotes must be obtained from three different removalist business' (all three quotes will need to be provided to the school).
You will then engage and organise a removalist to move your equipment (being the cheapest removalist unless there is a reasonable reason for choosing otherwise).
You will then provide the school with the three quotes and the removalist invoice, the school will then pay your removalist fees.
2.Country Establishment Allowance This allowance is paid in two lump sums, 50% at the beginning of your employment, and 50% at the completion of your first year.
The grant paid equates to a gross equivalent to 4 weeks pay.
You can only receive this allowance once, if you have previously received it from working at a country Catholic school, you will not be entitled to the allowance.
No action is required from your end, our payroll team will ensure payments are made as required if applicable.
3.Rental Subsidy The school is offering to provide $80 per week rent subsidy for your first year of relocation, total value being $4,160.
