As a secondary teacher in Orange, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience of young minds, contributing to their academic and personal development.
Suitable applicants must be a person of Christian faith and integrity and align with the school's values and ethos and teach from a Christian Worldview a range of subjects as per the prescribed secondary school curriculum and promote the social, emotional, intellectual and physical development of their students, and to also meet the defined educational goals for their students.
Skills & Qualifications The ability to model Christian ethics Must hold recognised tertiary qualifications in relevant field Outstanding teaching skills An ability to develop constructive relationships with students, which engender positive attitudes to learning An ability to plan, reflect, work and manage time effectively with minimal supervision Implement school policies that manage and develop appropriate student behaviours. Participate in student supervision duties, and extra-curricular activities such as excursions, sports, school and community events. Attend staff meetings and professional development activities Competent use of technology for development of lesson planning, teaching, student assessment and administrative functions Comply with, and reinforce health and safety policy and procedures within the workplace, and engage in mandatory training as directed All positions involve working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including a valid Working with Children Check.
