Position Overview: Catherine McAuley Westmead is seeking a Secondary Religious Education/Visual Arts Teacher to join their collaborative team on a Permanent Full-Time basis, commencing in Term 1 2025. This position is open to educators who are passionate about contributing to a dynamic and supportive educational environment.

Position Criteria: Demonstrate understanding of the curriculum and the Theology by which it is underpinned.Critically select appropriate pedagogical strategies and activities for individual student development.Plan and implement effective learning and teaching, developing explicit, challenging and achievable learning goals.Design conceptually coherent learning programmes using research evidence and appropriate teaching strategies.Analyze and evaluate student learning using a range of feedback strategies.Qualification & Experience: Tertiary Qualification in Education (or fourth-year student).NESA Accreditation (Conditional Accreditation also accepted).Working with Children Check clearance (essential).Exceptional communication skills.Application Requirements: A Cover Letter addressed to the Principal (Mary Refalo) introducing yourself and outlining how you meet the position criteria.Your Resume outlining education and experience.Interested?
