About the Role:Attention all passionate Arabic LOTE Primary/Secondary teachers! Don't miss your chance to join this vibrant, inclusive community!Key Duties:Develop age-appropriate and engaging curriculum plans that align with the Victorian Curriculum for Arabic in Primary/Secondary levels.Deliver effective and interactive Arabic language instruction, focusing on vocabulary, pronunciation, and language structures.Introduce aspects of Arabic culture into lessons through age-appropriate activities, stories, and projects to foster cultural awareness.Design assessments to evaluate language acquisition and provide constructive feedback to students.Collaborate with other teachers and departments to integrate Arabic language and culture into broader educational themes and projects.Stay informed about developments in language education, attend workshops, and engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and methodologies.Skills & Experience:Unrestricted working rights in Australia.Current VIT registration.Demonstrated experience in teaching Arabic in Australia at a Primary/Secondary level.Supportive of school ethos and faith.Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).Offering:Become part of a dynamic and expanding school community.Flexible start date during Term 1, 2025.Offering Vic curr stream or IB stream for upper years - can provide training.Work within a highly supportive LOTE team.Enjoy a positive and supportive staff and student culture.Competitive salary based on experience, ranging from $75,000 to $115,000.Interviews available online or in person.The School:Accredited International Baccalaureate school.Supportive management with smaller team structures.Highly respected within the local community.Emphasis on collaborative planning and professional development opportunities.How to Apply:To apply, follow the link provided or apply on our website.
