About the OpportunityShepparton Christian College is looking for a full-time Secondary Physical Education Health Teacher based in Shepparton, VIC. This role reports to the Principal and is responsible for planning and delivering high-quality Physical Education and Health lessons while supporting students' academic, physical, and spiritual growth.
Key responsibilities for these roles include but are not limited to:
Planning and delivering engaging and curriculum-aligned lessons that inspire students to achieve their full potentialPreparing and developing teaching materials that enhance learningEmploying effective classroom management strategies to foster a positive learning environmentAssessing and reporting on student performance in line with College policy and providing constructive feedbackMaintaining consistent communication with students, parents, and staff to support individual learning needsDesigning, implementing, and reviewing curriculum to meet the diverse needs of studentsContributing to co-curricular programmes and fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment that reflects Christian values.Upholding Shepparton Christian College's mission, vision, and faith-based ethos in all aspects of teaching and community engagement.Positions to commence Term 1, 2025 About YouTo be considered, you'll need a recognised teaching qualification and current VIT registration (or the ability to obtain). We're looking for a practising Christian with a strong faith, a collaborative and teachable approach, and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
