These documents are also available here.Core Responsibilities & DutiesPlan and implement a range of teaching programs or courses of study;Competent in the use of ICT learning platforms, particularly Canvas;Have the content knowledge and pedagogical practice to engage students in online learning;Demonstrate a commitment to improving professional practice through coaching and professional development;Provide a child-safe environment in accordance with the child-safe standards;Participate in child safety and wellbeing induction and training provided by the school;Act in accordance with our Child Safety Code of Conduct;Identify and raise concerns about child safety issues in accordance with our Child Safety Responding and Reporting Obligations Policy and Procedures;Ensure students' views are taken seriously and their voices are heard about decisions that affect their lives;Model and promote the vision and values of the school;Teach an area of the curriculum to senior year levels and develop online VCE courses for delivery;Maintain records of class attendance and record student progress;Implement effective student management consistent with the school's strategic plan;Attend and participate in staff meetings as required;Be actively involved in regular staff devotions and prayer.About the roleApplications are sought from suitably qualified and experienced teachers who are passionate about teaching in an online environment.
We are seeking a Maths / Science teacher who will deliver lessons to students from Years 7-10 in 2025.
These roles will be either full-time or 0.8 by negotiation only.
The opportunity to build online VCE and VCE Vocational Major courses for delivery in 2026 also exists.
* Please note that online teachers are required to work from our Casey office currently in Skye.The position involves working with children.
