We are passionate about helping each student achieve their goals, using their God-given talents to the best of their ability through quality education and practical learning.Due to the continued growth of our College, and an increase in student numbers, we are excited to announce a variety of new positions available across our Learning Areas.Position Overview:We are seeking expressions of interest for the following Part-time position commencing in January 2025:Secondary School Mathematics Teacher (Middle School): Part-time (0.65 FTE)The successful applicant must have:Relevant qualifications and experience, be approachable, and relate well to students, parents, and fellow staff members.Experience in implementing the Mathematics curriculum.A passion for teaching Mathematics to Middle School (Years 7 - 9) students in an engaging and relevant way.Essential Knowledge and Experience:An active Christian faith.Passion for living out your Christian faith and prepared to model, uphold, and support the Ethos and Core Values of the College.Outstanding teaching skills in your subject area.Developed a variety of teaching and learning strategies to meet the needs of all students.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including team-building and mentoring skills.Prepared to go the extra mile to ensure that students are well provided for.Commitment to supporting College policies and procedures relating to Classroom and Behaviour Management.Understanding of technology and ability to integrate this into your teaching.Qualifications:Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience related to the teaching responsibility required by the position.Current Western Australia Australian Teachers Registration Board Certificate of Registration (TRBWA).Current Working With Children Card.Current Police Clearance.Additional Requirements:The successful applicant will be expected to complete the National Principals Child Safe Modules if not already completed.You must have the right to live and work in Australia (VEVO checks will be conducted to confirm your eligibility to work in Australia).Applications close at 4.00 pm on Friday, 22 November, 2024.Providence Christian College will review applications as they come in, so we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible.
