Key duties: Design, plan, and deliver Digital Technology lessons according to the Victorian Curriculum. Provide engaging and effective instruction in various aspects of digital technology, including coding, programming, robotics, digital literacy, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies. Develop and implement assessment strategies to evaluate student learning and progress, including formative and summative assessments, projects, and practical demonstrations. Manage classroom technology resources, including computers, software, peripherals, and digital learning platforms, to support teaching and learning effectively. Promote innovation and creativity by encouraging students to explore and experiment with digital technologies, problem-solving techniques, and design thinking processes. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in digital technology, educational pedagogy, and curriculum requirements. Skills & Experience: Must hold unrestricted working rights in Australia. Current VIT registration is essential. Proven experience teaching secondary Digital Technology in Australia within a Secondary school setting. Ability to provide two education-based references from the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
