The Position: We are seeking a Permanent Part Time .8 FTE Secondary Teacher with Art Teaching experience to join our Christ-centred teaching community. This position will commence in January 2025 and will be located at our Melton campus.

The Person: Education and Experience: The suitable candidate will be a skilled educator within the teaching profession with a Bachelor of Education, VIT Registration (or provisional if a graduate), and proven experience in teaching Art. Additional teaching methods would be desirable and highly regarded. Ability to lead, inspire, support, and encourage students through teaching from a Christian worldview. Capacity to select and use appropriately, a wide range of teaching and assessment strategies to suit the needs of a diverse range of students. Professional Attributes: Actively contributes to Heathdale Christian College's team culture by displaying humility, a desire for excellence, a strong sense of self-awareness, and collaboration. Demonstrate a high level of communication, professional, and interpersonal skills when relating to teachers, students, parents, and colleagues. Participate in the understanding of the College's Christian philosophy of education and its practical outworking through the professional development of staff.
