The Opportunity:
We are looking for dedicated, outgoing individuals to join the Food & Beverage team at Australian Outback Spectacular and Paradise Country.
Australian Outback Spectacular – you will be assisting with the delivery of meals and drinks for up to 900 people in our unique Australiana theatre show.
Paradise Country – you will be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner to our guests, while ensuring high standards of food safety and guest service are upheld at all times.
All successful applicants MUST have a valid Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Statement of Attainment from a Nationally Recognised Training Organisation.
The role is initially a seasonal position until February 2025 with opportunities for ongoing positions.
Your day to day:
• Work effectively within a team environment or independently as required.
• Provide superior customer service to a variety of guests.
• Deliver meals and drinks to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Work in the bar serving a range of drinks as required.
• Set up and pack down the venue.
• Operate point of sale system via cash register with accurate cash handling.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and workplace hygiene requirements.
What you'll bring:
• A valid Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
• Full availability over the Christmas school holiday period including weekends.
• Australian Outback Spectacular – able to work night shifts from Tuesday to Saturday nights as well as working Sunday day shifts as required.
• Paradise Country – able to work a range of shifts from 6am to 9pm on any day of the week.
• High level of physical fitness with the ability to walk up and down stairs repetitively in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transport as shifts are outside public transport hours.
• A fun and positive working attitude with exceptional guest service focus and communication skills.
• Excellent grooming standards and a commitment to follow food & beverage personal presentation requirements (no jewellery, fake nails or nail polish).
• Previous restaurant experience will be highly regarded.
