Seasonal Activity Instructor: Paddle Sports & Land Based at Willowgate Adventure Centre
Willowgate Adventure Centre is currently seeking a highly motivated and appropriately qualified Full Time Seasonal instructor to join us from March - October 2025 in the role of Paddle Sports instructor. Could this be you?
The successful candidate for this post will bring a good level of knowledge to the table and play a vital role in the successful operation of a busy outdoor adventure centre.
You will have previous experience of an activity centre / outdoor education setting and demonstrate the right aptitude to follow instruction as well as use good initiative to run a broad paddlesports focused programme of activities both on site on our Blue Lagoons, as well as on sheltered and open water.
Desirable: Duke of Edinburgh's Award Supervisor / Assessor
In return for your commitment to this role we offer a salary of £29,000 pro rata with an annual £500 contribution towards continuous professional development, high quality uniform and equipment to get the job done, along with 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays) Pro Rata.

The successful candidate for this post will bring a high level of knowledge to the table and play a vital role in the successful operation of a busy outdoor adventure centre.
You will have previous experience of an activity centre / outdoor education setting and demonstrate the right aptitude to follow instruction as well as use good initiative to run a broad land-based programme of activities on site as well as away on planned expeditions to the Sea or Mountains.
Essential: Mountain Bike Leader Level 2
Desirable: Archery (in-house training will be given), Duke of Edinburgh's Award Supervisor / Assessor, NCC Coasteering Guide, Lowland Leader
All applicants must have: a clean UK driving licence and a Level 3 First Aid Course (or be willing to obtain before commencing work)
