Ongoing Opportunity in our Open Adoption Records Access Unit Location – Parramatta - Statewide Services. Employment type – We have an ongoing opportunity within our Open Adoption Records Access Unit for a Search and Supply Officer. Salary – Clerk Grade 3/4 - $79,032 to $86,539 per annum + Superannuation and Annual Leave Loading. Your role The Open Adoption Records Access Unit (OARA) supports people to apply for information about their adoption or the adoption of a close family member and those considering making contact with an adopted person, birth parent or family member.
What you'll do As part of the OARA unit you will be the first point of contact for clients, providing a range of efficient and effective services.
You will deal with sensitive and emotional situations with empathy and confidentiality.
You will also manage and maintain adoption information registers, process adoption information applications, and respond to correspondence.
Relationship building and stakeholder management are integral parts of the role, ensuring that services provided meet the needs of the clients and adhere to adoption legislation.
