HR Advisor - Hybrid Working Job Highlights Location: Maidstone, EnglandRate: £33,000 - £35,000 per annum + Hybrid Working + BenefitsType: PermanentWe are currently working with a leading National Maintenance & Repair business across the Commercial Sector. Employing over 500 members of staff, the business grew last year by 35%. Due to this growth, they are now seeking an HR Advisor to join their team in Maidstone on a full-time, permanent basis.
Responsibilities will include: Process all new starters including production of employment contracts, induction packs, reference requests, and Company handbooks.Carrying out inductions.Process leavers including the submission of resignation acceptance letters and calculating leavers' final pay in lieu of annual leave.Maintain absence records and return to works.Process all paperwork associated with employment changes and variations to contracts.Create and maintain all employee personnel files, ensuring archiving of leavers and cleansing of information held in line with the Data Protection Act (GDPR).Maintain employee benefits administration, such as quarterly life assurance data submissions.Assist with any recruitment and ensure safer recruitment practices are met.Support the administration of annual pay reviews, employee surveys, and HR statistics.Assist with projects, such as new HR system roll out.Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events etc.Coordinate training sessions.Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc.).Providing advice and assistance on policies, procedures, and legislation.Co-ordinate compliance for legal processes, such as disciplinary or grievance.Take minutes for informal and formal process meetings/hearings.Support in HR administration, where required.The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a CIPD Level 3 or above, previous experience in an HR role, excellent communication skills, and good IT skills including Word and Excel. Recruitment experience would be advantageous but not essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing National business that can offer ongoing training and career progression. Based in Maidstone, there will be the occasional requirement to travel to their other offices in the UK. There is flexibility to work from home 2 days per week.
