The Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will create value by:
Designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure solutions on the Salesforce platform.
Managing technical architecture and design on large, complex Salesforce projects.
Working with clients to shape technical architecture and define and scope projects to address specific needs.
Communicating complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Supporting pre-sales activities, including participating in sales calls and proposal development.
Ensuring best practices on solution positioning and delivery.
Minimum Requirements
Technically, you will bring to the position:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
Prior experience as a technical architect on complex Salesforce engagements.
7-10 years of experience in developing technology solutions.
7+ years' experience in Salesforce Development including Custom Objects, Apex, Triggers, Web Services, Visualforce, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services and Migration Tools.
4+ years' experience in building custom UI solutions using Salesforce Lightning design system (SLDS), Salesforce Lightning UI, LWC, web technologies (HTML 5, CSS3, XML, jQuery, JavaScript).
Salesforce Certified System Architect or Salesforce Certified Technical Architect certifications preferred.
Expertise in Sales/Service/Experience Cloud, Public Sector Solutions and OmniStudio.
Expertise in Deployment management and mastery of deployment tools like GitHub, Bitbucket, Gearset.
Experience with Salesforce Platform events, Streaming API, Change data capture.
Experience with Salesforce APIs, Salesforce connectors, middleware solutions like Kafka, MuleSoft.
Ideally will hold at least some Salesforce certifications appropriate for the role (Admin, Developer, Sales and Service Clouds, Experience Cloud, Application Architect, OmniStudio Developer/Consultant, Development Lifecycle & Deployment Designer, Integration Architect, Data Architect, Platform Developer I / II).
Experience with Agile Development practices.
